Sales Coordinator – Healthcare and Financial Services

Reed Business Information, Australia’s leading business-to-business publisher is looking for a sales coordinator to work with the healthcare and financial services groups. The role will provide administrative, sales and marketing support to the sales teams across both groups.

Key responsibilities will include:

> Maintain an accurate advertising booking process including sales reports and spreadsheets for all titles – Attention to detail is a must have skill
> Maintain client databases
> Provide a professional service to customers and maintain good client relationships via phone and email support
> Admin support to the sales team and general office duties: invoice and account enquiries, couriers, filing, mailing, photocopying, booking travel etc

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum 1-2 years sales support experience. This is a diverse role and your experience should demonstrate your ability to provide sales support to a busy portfolio of print and online brands. You will possess strong administrative, organisation and negotiation skills along with the ability to multi-task.

The role will involve enhancing the current brand position of the healthcare portfolio and developing and implementing marketing campaigns and research initiatives.

Magazine Designer

B&T, Australia’s highest circulating marketing, advertising and media magazine, is looking for an enthusiastic designer to maintain and improve on the already high design standards of the title.

Reporting to the editor and working closely with the editorial team, the designer will be responsible for the overall layout, design and production of the fortnightly B&T magazine, quarterly Professional Marketing title, related supplements, media kits and marketing collateral.

The successful candidate will play a key role in coming up with front cover concepts, commissioning external photographers and illustrators, updating photo libraries and managing the art budget.

Previous experience in magazine design and layout is essential, as is knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe CS4 Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and QuarkXpress.

This full-time role is based in Chatswood, North Sydney. The successful candidate will play a key role as part of a small and friendly team of journalists within Reed Business Information, the world’s largest B2B publisher.

News Journalist, B&T Today

B&T, Australia’s highest circulating advertising, marketing and media title currently celebrating its 60th anniversary, is looking for a news editor to work across its highly regarded e-newsletter and magazine.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead the production of our daily PDF newsletter B&T Today, by co-ordinating a team of journalists and deliver breaking news by going beyond the press release.

Working in a fast paced news environment, the ability to spot and chase down stories, build and maintain industry contacts, and react quickly to developing events is a must in this highly competitive market. You should be confident, organised and able to work with little supervision producing well written stories.

We are looking for an existing news editor or a news journalist with trade or newspaper experience under their belt who is ready to move onto the next stage of their career. Knowledge of the advertising, marketing and media industries and an understanding of social media is preferred, although not essential. Experience of Quark or Indesign will also be well-regarded.

Job Description

Analyse key traffic metrics. Train, advise and consult with RBI key stake holders. Provide ongoing business support, measurement and KPI management. Liaise with business units to advise how they are doing and implement strategies for traffic increase. Analyse website traffic, work with the online management team, marketing teams and a range of internal departments to implement new traffic generation strategies to meet key business objectives. The Analyst is expected to produce assigned analytic projects; and produce independent analysis to drive the online strategy. The role requires the ability to work across many teams within a media organistaion, from editorial, sales, management and technical teams.
